This K2 Bolo Tie is handcrafted in molten silver solder (lead free) over copper using Tiffany technique. The sliding pendant is paired with a long woven leather cord that is made to put on overhead and measures 40 inches long. The pendant had a clip so that it can be secured at your desired length.
K2 is a stone that is found at the base of the K2 Mountain which is the second tallest mountain in the world. It is comprised of granite and azurite, an anomaly since those two stones don’t usually form together.
* Silver solder used specifically for this technique is comprised of mixed metals including silver, copper and tin.
